Flippy2 from Miso. How Can This Robot Cook Healthier Food in Your Restaurant?

How Can We Make Healthier Fries?

Check out the awesome french fry-cooking robot: Flippy 2 from Miso Robotics.  But don't get depressed because it's preparing unhealthy food, because I'm going to present three ways this robot can make you money in your restaurant with healthy versions of french fries and I'll also tell you how to make tastier french fries.

Don't you wonder: What Makes Fries Unhealthy?    Major problems are: Frying, high-carb potatoes, and low fiber.

1. Frying!  Instead of dipping fries into a bath of oil, this machine could be re-programmed to moving the fries in and out of little air-fryer ovens.

2. Sweet Potato!  Instead of cooking white potatoes, switch to sweet potatoes which have have more fiber, more antioxidants, and a lower Glycemic Index (GI)!  But don't just take my word for it, here's my source.

3. Low Carb Veggies!  Make zucchini fries instead of potato ones.

How To Make Tastier French Fries

If your restaurant can offer tastier food that's also healthier, that's a double win.  Let's look at how to make tastier french fries than that boring fast-food stuff in the demo video:

1. Parsnip fries.  If you are like me and hardly ever knew what parsnips were growing up, then you are in for a big treat!  Parsnips taste very yummy.  They're a little like potatoes, but lighter and almost refreshing in taste.  The Flippy2 robot should handle parsnip fries just as easily as potato ones.

2. Asparagus fries.  When asparagus is fried lightly, as in tempura, it comes out delicious.  Just load up the ol' Flippy 2 bot with Asparagus, and poof!  You're actually serving delicious green vegetables!  Some keto diet followers even swear by eggplant fries, and portobello mushroom fries!  Oh, but you'd probably need another robot to make that happen, wouldn't you?

3. Seasoning.  There are sooo many different seasonings out there, but one of the most reliable crowd-pleasers is "garlic and herb":  There are many creative variations on this, but the main ingredients are garlic and parsley with option oregano, thyme, basil and paprika.  The way to make this happen inside your restaurant is to have a large shaker full of your seasoning.  Then, when the robot is in the stage of moving the fries over to the bins, the shaker gets activated to release the precise amount of seasoning, while the fries are in the air.  This creates a delightfully even spread of the seasoning.

Conclusion

I'm looking for more people curious about healthy food robots.  Please send them my way.
